See my note against your posting for the 1861 census request.
I don't have the 1871 census, but I have located 2 Gibbons families in the 1851 census for Salford in roughly the same area.
A John(32) and Biddy(46) Gibbons living at 16 Swann Court, with 4 children Charles(14),Thomas(11),William(9) and James(6). The parents and first child born Ireland, rest Salford.
A James(31) and Ellen(27) at 2 Ordsall Lane, children John(6), Mary(4) and Thomas(1).
