1871 census lookups - Everton

Am hoping for assistance in locating two families in Everton in 1871.
* ages are what they would be in 1871.
1) James HULTON, 66*, licenced broker, born Prestwich
Mary, wife, 52, Ireland
Mary Ann, dau, 28, Gibraltar
Henry, son, 22, Liverpool
Julia, dau, 19, Liverpool
Ellen, dau, 15, Liverpool
This family was found only on the 1861 census, living at 3 Prince Edwin St., Everton. Have not been able to locate them on the 1851 or 1881 censuses.

2) John HULTON, 31, birthplace unknown but could be Gibraltar or Liverpool, quay foreman
Ellen, wife, 26, birthplace unknown
Catherine, dau, 3, West Derby
Emmeline, dau, 2, West Derby
This family was known to be living at 82 Luther St., Everton in June of 1871

Hi Sheila, the only members of the Hulton family I have found are:

At 51 Peel Street Court (?), Liverpool
Mary Hulton, 55, wife, born Ireland
Julia Hulton, 18, daughter, upholsterer, born Liverpool

Still no trace of any of the other family members, but I will keep looking.

Hi Margaret,

I think I found James living in the general Liverpool/Everton area, but they listed his place of birth as Prestwick. For some reason, he was not living at the time with wife Mary and daughter that you located.

I recently gained access to the 1871 census through Ancestry.com so I can do any necessary further searching. Thank you for your efforts. Always appreciated.
