Please can anyone help. I am looking for my ancestors Sarah and Joseph James in 1871. They lived at No.7 Crippens houses/buildings, Lily Lane, Ashton-in-Makerfiled, near Wigan. Full census details requested please but any infomation greatfully received. Thanks.

I looked up Crippens, Lily Lane, Ashton in Makerfield and there was not a family called James living there in 1871.

Thanks for looking. I'm thinking that they must have moved very close to when Joseph was born and perhaps they were still in Staffordshire in 1871.
