I am trying to find information about William (my Great Grandfather), his wife and his daughters. Wife: Sarah Hannah (?); Daughters: Elizabeth Gertrude c 1873; Agnes Blair c 1876 (my Grandmother); Amy and Sally both born sometime after Agnes. There is just a possibility that William remarried and the two younger daughters were from the second marriage. At some stage the family ended up in the Birkdale/Southport area. Any help would be most welcome!

I still haven't found them in the 1871 census, but in case you don't have them from 1881:

All born Liverpool (including Mary Watkins)

Thanks for your help, I've just located them in the 1871 census this week!!! :D William, his wife Hannah and son William aged 2 months were living with Thomas and Elizabeth Green who, I suspect, might be Hannah's parents or Uncle and Aunt as her name was Green also. William was listed as 'Boarder'. Perhaps he was boarding with the family before he married Hannah. I found them by spelling his name LONDON

Found a possible on the Liverpool 1851 census there are two in the house hold at the moment as not everything has been done. Don't know if this is him or not as there is no age down but you could always ask some one to have a look as this gives the ref numbers usually needed. differnet spelling again but could just be a coincidence.
