Hi, I wonder if anyone could find the Meadows family in Cinder St Lathom Lancs. I know they were there in 1881 and am hoping that they were there in 1871 Robert Willam and John I am hoping that my great grandfathers mother is listed, that will add another peice to the jig saw. Thanks Again,
Germaine.

Hi Germaine,
I don't know if you still need this, or if you want to pass on this information--
at Burscough Bridge, Lathom
John HARRISON, his name has been crossed out, and "away from home"
put in line.
Underneath is
Elizabeth MEADOWS, dau, unm, 31, charwoman, born Burscough
Frances MEADOWS, dau, unm, 21, no occupation, born Burscough
John MEADOWS, g son, 9, scholar, born Burscough
Robert MEADOWS, g son, 3, born Lathom
William MEADOWS, g son, 1, born Lathom
I could not find a Cinder Street in Lathom in 1871.
Margaret

Hi Margaret, Thanks someone had found this family for me which at the time was who I wanted till I delved further and found that it is the wrong family. Actualy I managed eventually to get this family way back then on further checking found they were wrong. 2 illigitemate (pardon spelling) John Meadows same age AGGH!. I have since found the right family as far back as 1871 and the births but can't find them any earlier. Who I am looking for now is any trace of James 1791 Margaret his wife/ Richard 1798 / William 1826 / Ann 1828 / James 1830 / Thomas 1833 / Margret 1835 / Elizabeth 1836. Especially Richard, Thomas, Margaret and John (if he appears in 1861 that is the year he was born) as far as the Parish Reg. states they were in Church Town (North Meols) at the time of the births but I have only checked the 1851 census and couldn't find them there. As far as I can tell Richard and James were Millers. Margaret married in Fleetwood in 1869 and Richard and Thomas were in Thornton in 1871 Thomas was vicar in 1870 but I can't find them before I haven't tried Thornton census yet (not been to library). Thanks for your help I will go to my post and check I am not still asking for anyone who has been found.
Thanks again
Germaine :D
