Hi: Would appreciate knowing who the occupants were in 1871 at the Flying Horse Hotel, Packer Street. (Hoping it's still Hannah BOLTON or John and Hannah CUNLIFFE if she had married by then.)

Good Morning JoJo, Had a quick look for you re that address.
Hannah was still single.33.Publican.B. Accrington. The address is not under the name Flying Horse..just 37, Packer St.
Hannah is alone except for a " Companion & Domestic " Alice Carnes.Lodger.18. Born Padiham (Burnley)

Hi, Pam: Thanks very much for the lookup. The name Alice Carnes/Carns is familiar to me-she was still with the family in 1881 when they were innkeepers in York, where she was listed as "neice" so she's obviously a daughter of an unknown (to me) sister of Hannah's. The June 1871 Bolton/Cunliffe marriage in Burnley is still as possibility as is the Dec 1871 one in Bury. Jojo
