Could anybody check for me if there was a WILLIAM APPLETON and/or ELLEN APPLETON living on Appleton Street. They were there in 1861 with children Josiah, Mary, Ann, John and William. William will not be on the 1871 as he married in 1870. William, Head, was born in Bolton, all the others in St. Helens.
Would appreciate any help on this. I was over in St. Helens Library on Tuesday, managed to check 1851 and 61 but ran out of time and was unable to check 1871!
Any help very much appreciated.
Sandra. :)

It looks as though William had died and Ellen moved to the next street.
