Hi, Can any kind soul look up the following, Cinder St. (Lathom Lancs.) or maybe nearby.
Robert Meadows / John Meadows / William Meadows, (ages would be 65/9/1)
known be living at Cinder St. (no number) Lathom Lancs. in 1881 census.
I am hoping that John and Williams will be mother listed.
Here's hoping,
Thanks, Germaine :) :)

Hi John, A look on the 1841 census would be great, someone did find some info on the 1871 but a look up on the 1841 would be great and perhaps tie everything in. If you could see if you find a Robert Meadows age about 35 with a bit of luck it should have Elizabeth aged 1 and perhaps there maybe a mention of his wife. Robert was missing on the 1871 but I think he may have been at sea.
In 1871 they were down as living Busrcough Bridge Lathom.
Thanks again,
Here's hoping,
Germaine. :)

Hi Germaine,
couldn't see him on 1841,will try looking at Burscough over weekend(although that is probably worst quality with less than 50% readable),did find the following
George Meadows 50 (Blacksmith),Hannah 50,Peter 25(Sawyer),Richard 15 (Ag.Lab),John 15 (ag Lab),on next page is George 12 (working on a farm)

John Meadows 55(Paver),Martha(45),William 15,Mary 10,John 8,Catherine 5

Thomas Meadows 30,Anne 25,Thomas 2

Thomas 80 (farmer)

remember on 1841 all ages over 15 are rounded down, so age 50 is somewhere between 50 and 54.

Hope this helps,
John

Hello Germaine, I believe I have found your Robert MEADOWS in Burscough Bridge, HO2197, p. 148, for the 1851 census.
I will e-mail you with the details.
