Seeking 1871 records for the below families, PLUS a brother George BUCKINGHAM. Can someone help?
Found 1881:
Radcliffe, 23 Ainsworth Rd
1) BUCKINGHAM, Alfred, cloth finisher, & family including widowed mother Elizabeth, 72
RG11 Piece/Folio 3869/124 Page No. 10
Also found 1881:
Radcliffe, 17 Water Lane St
2) BUCKINGHAM, Thomas, coal miner, & family
RG11 Piece/Folio 3869/129 Page No. 19

3) BUCKINGHAM George b. 1843 in Cornwall (younger than Thomas & older than Alfred). Address for George in 1871 unknown but I'm hoping with or near siblings? George m. 1865 Elizabeth, nee Kitto; mother and dau Mary, b. 1870 Radcliffe LAN, found 1871 visiting her father Thomas Kitto in Cornwall. So George may be alone at home in Radcliffe 1871 though married.

Before 1881 George and family emigrated to USA (NY & PA) whereas his brothers and mother remained in LAN.
Many thanks,

Hi Susan
I have found the following on 1871, but it is a very bad scan and difficult to read, also for the ones you are interested not place of birth has been completed.
RG10/3961 Page 101a
3 South View Water Lane Radcliffe
William Rowling Head M 22 Coal Miner
A???? Rowling Wife M 24 Braid Lapper
There is a line under these 2 names, but at the same address:-
Elizabeth Buckingham Head M 63 Housekeeper
Alfred Buckingham Son M 2? Miner
Mary Ann Buckingham Dau-in-law M 24 Silker
Edwin Buckingham Son M 27 Miner

Page 109a
23 Black Lane Radcliffe
Jonathan Buckingham Head M 35 General ? [looks like Miner] Cornwall St Day
Ellen Buckingham Wife M 35 Housekeeper Cornwall St Edith?
James Wood Boarder M 21 General Miner Cornwall Ladyc???
Eliza Wood Boarder M 23 Blocker at a Mill Radcliffe

There maybe more but unfortunatley 2 pages are completely unreadable.
I can't find Ainsworth Street in the Index.

Hope this helps
Chris

Dear Chris,

Many thanks for your posting and lookup. Extremely helpful! Every lead adds something. For one thing you found a brother, Jonathan, I had not previously known had in fact survived to adulthood, married or moved to Radcliffe. I have 11 sibling names with birthdates but no other data from the Bible my great-grandfather had here in U.S., and Jonathan matches one. So thanks to you I now have clues to research him further. Will keep chipping away at this.

With appreciation,
