Hello everybody, i am new to this so pls forgive mistakes. I am trying to trace my fathers side of the family, info i have so far :- Thomas Harling married Sarha Pickford@ Lancaster in 1903, i'm not sure if he travelled there to marry in the brides parish!, they had the following family Bella,Annie, Jane, Thomas, George (my father,B. 1914 in Dukinfield, Cheshire) & John, who died young. I was born in Hyde, Cheshire and recall some of my fathers siblings living in that area Any info or help appreciated. Jacqui Bacon nee Harling (Ireland)

Do you have a copy of the marriage certificate? This will give us the names of the bride's father, and the groom's father. It will also give us, perhaps, an address or two. Sometimes the witnesses also can give a clue... We can work backward from this information to give you the 1901 and earlier censuses. We don't have access to 1910 and later, unfortunately.

The marriage was in the June quarter 1903: Lancaster 8e 1507.

There is a Thomas Harling, aged 25, living in Lancaster in 1901 and also a Sarah Pickford, aged 19. Both were born in Lancaster. A copy of the marriage certificate would confirm if these are the ones that you are looking for.
