I have found a reference to The Register OF THE PARISH OF Thornton IN THE COUNTY OF BUCKINGHAMSHIRE 1562 - 1812 which mentions Nich Craxford (page 15) Does anyone know how we can get further information about this, it is likely this would be the one of the earliest mentions of our surname (1620 - 30)
