Can someone assist.
I am searching for an Elizabeth LANGFORD/William ROLES marriage.
I searched Freebmd and came across an Elizabeth Langford dec qtr 1868 for the district of Ashton under lyne. It gave a listing for 4 people including Elizabeth LANGFORD.

DINSDALE Margaret
GOSLING James
COATES James
LANGFOD Elizabeth
what I would like to know, does this mean one of these males would be this Elizabeth LANGFORDS Husband or not.
When I search for a William ROLES nothing comes up for abt that time.
There first child my ggrandfather was born 1873 at Mottram registration at Ashton under lyne, so I am actually just sussing every avenue at the moment.

It doesn't necessarily mean one of those is her husband, it may be that the Roles entry hasn't been recorded yet. Or neither have been recorded yet....They should be eventually, though.

I could not find a listing for William Roles to match-up with the Elizabeth Langford entry in the GRO marriages for Dec. quarter 1868.
