Farrimond Family Atherton

Trying to trace the relatives of my husband FARRIMOND family.Don't know his grandparents names.There were three children,Frank,John in the Army,killed and buried in France and Eliza,my husbands mother.The lived in Argylle Street,Atherton.Any help appreciated.

Hi Nora,
Sorry I don't have an awful lot to go on at the moment.I should think the parents were probably born 1880 or a little later.
John was in the Army and died and is buried in France,we managed to get information about that.Eliza,my husbands mother was born in 1910 and married Harry Dale in 1938 we believe at Atherton Baptist Church.He was from Leigh and had connections with Lowton Church.His parents were William Henry Dale and Mary Westwell,but again we cannot find any information about the Westwells.I believe they were gardeners and had nurseries.
Eliza and Harry Dale later move to Sumner Street,but we are trying to find the names of Elizas parents and any information on them.Many thanks, any information would be appreciated.
