Would sks please be able to tell me the occupants of 16 Byrom STreet Garston in the 1891 Census. I'm hoping to find James Thomas WELSH and his family. Thanks in advance.

Sorry could only find Byron St Garston and at no 16 were William and Jane Jackson. I checked the rest of the street but couldn't find any Welch's

Hi, As Norah said no Welsh at No 16, but there is a Thomas Welch/Welsh (wife) Mary at No.11 Byron Street. Also Welsh's at No 2 Byron Street and 37 Shakespear Street. If these are of any interest i have them written down. Regards. Pam

Many thanks to Norah and Pam. Pam, I think you have found my family at no. 11. They must have moved across the street. Thomas's wife was definitely Mary so this would seem to be them. Could you please let me know all the details of the occupants? Many thanks.

Hello, Here are the occupants of No 11 Byron St Garston in 1891. Some of the writing is none to clear (page is rather faded in parts)
R12-3004 Folio 77 Page 37.
Thomas Welch/Welsh 35 Labourer. B. Raby Cheshire.
Mary (wife) 35 B. Thornton Hough(?)Cheshire
Mary A (daughter) 10 Scholar. B. Garston.
Margaret (daughter) 8 Scholar. B. Garston.
Thomas (son) 10mths.(?) B. Garston.

Raby is now in Merseyside, as is Thornton Hough they are only a few miles apart,
